Hi Sarah! =) I heard the songs you sang in the Europe -Conference at Word of Life (summer-09), over the web-page of Word of Life. And I was completely blown away by your songs. You said they were brand new. I´ve looked for them all over your page, but I couldnt find them. I dont even know the name of them, I only know them from the web cast from the time you were at Word of Life. I was wondering if you are gonna publish these songs, or if you already have? Everytime I hear these songs I cry and it´s as if they put me in touch with heaven. I love the honesty in your songs. You seem like a wonderful person, and I can see how God has touched you. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. You´re living my dream. May God bless you. Love, Sara from Norway.

On stage w/u at New Venture
Casey Scarpulla on New Venture Christian Fellowship 2/21/2010
Hey Sarah! I don't know if you remember me, but I am one of the girls that sang with you up in stage at New Venture this weekend (the young one). Haha. I am really bummed that i didnt have the chance to say bye to you after the last service on Sunday, I had some family obligations. Well I just wanted to thank you sooo much for allowing me to sing up there with you, it was a great pleasure. I would absolutely love to do it again. You have such an amazing voice, you brought the house to thier feet with a standing ovation after your solos on Sunday. Well of course you saw. :) I have really been thinking a lot about the advice you gave me about getting back into playing the piano, I wouldnt want to be a Diva. Haha. And to start writing my own songs. I have always loved singing but I never thought i would do anything further than singing at church, but you have inspired me to do so much more. Thank you for everything. Love, Casey Scarpulla :)

your story
Krista on Saddleback Church - Girls Night Out 1/30/2010
I too fell away and was angry with God...My marriage ended and I lost my mom during the same time, and I thought,... i was faithful, I obeyed Him, I waited for His answers, and that was it?! How could He let my marriage fail? How could He let me be a single mom with out my mom( my best friend) He took so much away so quickly...I wondered how God could let me hurt so badly if he loves me so much. -I am healing now. I am not angry anymore. I am resurected, again, and will also share my story with others of how God is always there even when man or the world fails me. Amen

Hey SK: Just want to tell you that it was a real pleasure "hanging out" with you on the plane ride from PHX and meeting Jonas. Right after you left, an older lady came up to us and started to relay all your songs, your gram noms, and how great you are as a person! (Def. a fan.) Grace listened to the CD and said you're lyrics are awesome. Take care and when we're in Teme again we'll think of both of you. Say hi to Jonas for us. Take care, --Hector and Grace.

Hey Sarah, I went to the Signature Girls' conference in Toledo on Saturday, and you completely inspire me. I'm 17, I was cutting about a year and a half ago for a few months and got delivered. Your story was so inspiring, and it will forever be a reminder for me to never go back. I write songs and sing and play keys, and I'd sort of like to be like you someday, singing and playing and ushering the presence of God in for others. The thing about the guy giving you $20,000 was totally awesome. I really wanted to talk to you after the conference, but my youth group dragged me out ;) If ever I could send you a couple of my songs, and you could give me tips/pray for me, that'd be really awesome! Thank you so much, you were such a blessing to the girls there!

Just wanted to let you know I truly enjoyed listening to you play today. My daughter Sami introduced us and I sat behind u at church. I had to leave after you were done so i didn't get a chance to tell you that I saw Tammy Trent at West Gate Chapel in Toledo Ohio a couple of years ago and I didn't think I would enjoy anyone singing that type of music as much again until I heard u sing today... Do you do any concerts with her that would be a great show..I know she tours with a woman's group she is a wonderful singer and a great person..

Loved how you sang it different than the norm. lol and then when I walked past you while walking to the bathroom you said 'fiesty' lol. That comment was very true that day. I wrestled with some stuff but in the end God was glorified. Just wanted to say hello and this is the first time I have heard of you and am very blessed. Keep in pursuit of our Father. My sister bought your cd (Where the past meets today), from Maata Näkyvissä. I have listened it too, and you know what? I love it! :) I liked the concert just as much as the cd, but I just haven't remembered to tell you that! So I'm glad to do that now. I wish you'll come to Finland again sometime! I'll be there, if it happens some day. Your music gives me a lot of encouragement to believe in God, when it feels the hardest thing in the world. So, that's all I have to say: Thank you!
Your story
Cathy O on Sparks Christian Fellowship 1/4/2010
Hi, your introduction about yourself, regarding your abusive relationship, really touched me. I have recently escaped from one that verged physical abuse, and I gained many scars and bruises from the emotional abuse I received. You mentioned yours stemmed from leaving a light on... I can relate so well to that - mine was usually because I didn't get to my phone quick enough at all hours. I agree this needs to be brought to light, but at the same time, I know for myself, it's hard to admit that I was a victim. I feel so much shame for falling into the trap. Thank you, for your courage to stand up, and declare your past. It's encouraging to me. Thank you.

HI, I just wanted to thank you so much for your performance yesterday. It was so moving and you are so adorable and angelic. I wanted to thank you for telling your story about being an abused wife. I too suffered through 7 1/2 years of an abusive marriage and one day, I left with the clothes on my back and never looked back. I had to leave my two very young daughters behind to avoid being killed. It's been more than 20 years, but the pain and the abuse lives on, but through Christ I manage it well and have more insite on what to avoid in relationships. My 18 year old daughter was with me yesterday in church and I am very happy she was there to hear your story. May God bless you and give you continued success spreading the wonderful Word of God through your beautiful voice and words.

Sarah Maynard on Life Church - "The Source" 12/21/2009
Hi Sarah, I am 30 years old. I have been listening to your music since 2006 and I love it. I still have to purchase your most recent cd. The reason I am writing you is because I want to say Thank You for sharing at the Source (Roscoe 12/19). Thank you for being so real and genuine about your abusive experience. You have been through the bad but you chose to see past it and know that God would RESTORE. You chose healing. Anger and abuse has such a huge affect on people's lives and it takes so much time to heal. Sadly some people never get to the restore part because they can't see it. I want to tell you that not only are you a great musician to me, but now you have also become an inspiration to me. Thank you Sarah! God has worked a lot on restoring who I am internally and becoming happy, but I know there are a lot more amazing exciting things to happen yet in my future, as well as yours. Great job in your career and all your pursuits!

I heard you for the first time yesterday at Sunridge Church. I couldn't keep the tears from streaming down my face. I too know the pain, the fears and all the confusing dilemmas that can make a person feel stuck in an abusive marriage. I recently took the step to get out of mine. Hearing your story and relating to your lyrics was encouraging and validating to me. I was deeply moved as you said you used to hope that God was faithful and that now you know He is. Praise God!

I had fun at Sunridge at the annual Christmas dessert. I was sitting at a table near the stage. Sarah Kelly has an awesome voice and lyrics that really seem to come from the heart. Dear Dear Sarah!!! I attend Calvary church and go on most Wednesdays. I didn't know you were gong to be performing on the second of December. I almost didn't go that evening...for many reasons. For the reasons you sang about and shared with us that night. God compelled me to drag myself there that night and that's when I heard your beautiful, moving voice and your story. Thank you for reminding me that I am not an afterthought! Your story gives me courage Sarah! Thank you for being you!!! Most Sincerely, Leah
Just what I needed.

Like you, I have been the 'victim' of domestic violence. The only good I ever thought came from that was my seven year old son. Last night, I cried all night. Your story...hit home and it hit hard. Many people don't realize the cycle or addiction as you called it. It's so difficult to get out of. I remember growing up and hearing about domestic violence and thinking, how stupid can those women be? I thought I'd never let that happen to me. Yeah, and then it did. I've been divorced now for almost two years. When I was going thru it, I felt so alone. See, I had moved out of state, and all my family is here. I didn't cling to God like I should have. I just got angry and did the whole 'why me' thing. I realized last night during your performance that I haven't quite let it go. I still feel broken. I thought I had moved on, and it'll just take more time. No, I've got to get it out. I have to face it. Thank you. I felt like you were speaking right to me!
THANK YOU!
Debbie on Calvary of Albuquerque 12/3/2009
I don't even know how to say how overwhelmingly blessed and honored I was to be in church at Calvary of Albuquerque last night and watch Sarah LOVE her way through the service. I laughed and wept and clapped and praised and thanked our precious delicious and perfect God for taking broken pottery and making it whole and worthy of the treasure He makes of each of us -- Oh thank you for coming to New Mexico and gifting us (me) with your beauty -- your joy -- your healing -- your INCREDIBLE VOICE -- your gifts -- your GRACE -- blessings and you will be in my daily prayers -- Thank you, thank you, thank you -- for letting those of us who have been broken see the beauty of the wholeness He can and will work in a life -- and one who chooses to fall in love with Him and His perfect Grace....
Love it

I don't know do you even read these messages, but I really hope you do! I just want to let you know how amazing your concerts were in Maata Näkyvissä, in Turku. I had never heard your songs before but I bought your newest album right away after the first concert on Saturday.. I like Not quite home and Amazing grace the most. I actually learnt myself how to play Not quite home by piano.. :D You have great voice and great songs and it's so cool that you give all glory to Jesus Christ! I love your attitude and admire you strong feeling about our Lord. I can't find the right words to tell about all my feelings and my English is not very good, but i want to tell you one thing. I'm having problems with my relationship with God, and I felt I don't have time for God and for faith. After your concert i cried and prayed and I felt stronger. Now I'm coming back to the right way with my doubts, but with my growing faith, too. So, thank you! And thank God! Love you! God bless :)

First concert of the day, and though I had already seen Sarah singing in the big concert the day before, this small concert at 8:55 was the best. I was in the line waiting to get in when the song "Brand New Day" started. When I got trough the security check I just ran to the concert hall, in the crowd and started singing. I had gone to sleep at 01:30am and woke up at 07:00am, I was really tired, but hearing Sarah's song really cleared the sleep from my eyes and gave the best kick start for the last day of the festivals. Thank you, Sarah, for coming to Finland, singing my favorite song and being so wonderful. You are truly a beautiful person, inside and out, and honest with a big H! Please come back soon!

I wanted to tell you that you gave me the best Christmas gift this year. And I wanted to thank you for that. You gave me hope. The way you talked about things that shouldn’t happen, like a piece of my life. And your songs spoke straight to my heart. Take me away especially. I kinda wish God would take me away. Take me home. But your gig in Turku made me realize that though I don’t feel like I belong here, God still wants me to be here and that He will never desert me. (I had about a page written, but it seems it doesn't fit here, so I need to put the most important thigs here). I've been in a kind of freefall, not knowing when I'll hit hit the ground. Faith has seemed more like a curse than a gift. But your gig in Turku made me feel like there's a chance that God will catch me. And I hope He will. I didn't get a chance to hug you in Turku, so this is my virtual hug. I hope I'll be able to hug you and thank you for real. God bless! P.S. Your awsome! :)

So, the two concerts in Maata Näkyvissä -festival in Turku, Finland. Oh my Lord, thank you for bringing Sarah Kelly into my life. IT WAS TOTALLY AMAZING! I don't think that I've ever had such big feelings and I cried and I cried. I loved every one of your songs! You know, I've had some serious problems with my faith in Jesus Christ, my Lord. Sometimes it's just too damn hard.. But now, after the whole festival and especially Sarah, after your concerts, I DO have faith more than ever. I'm going to thank my Lord for the rest of my life for bringing you to my life. Thank you Sarah, you helped God to make me more whole person that I've ever been. I totally fell in love with you and God again. Thank you, thank you, thank you. With all my hugs and with all my love, Aino (P.s Take good care of my Jesus Christ -pick ;)
Born to Worship
Gary George on Born To Worship 11/11/2009
There are somethings in this world that we think we are meant to do. When we grow up people say, "What do you want to do when you grow up?" Some how this is attributed to work or some other thing that we enjoy doing. I still remember when I worked as a restaurant maintenance guy that I told a friend who was a Christian. "I was born to do this." He said, "no you weren't," but he never elaborated other than just telling me I was born for something greater. I still get tears, all the time, and even more so when I drive home after a night of Bible school, realizing the depth of God's love and how amazing He is. Its not just that God speaks, "You shall love me with everything," (My paraphrase) its that I do. I was born to love Him, I was born to walk with Him everyday. Yes, I am, I was born to worship.

I had to let you know that when you sang the song I was enjoying listening to you just sing but when you sang the words, "Here in the valley, shadows blind the way, WHERE THE PAST MEETS TODAY" they just went straight into me and didn't come out! I also have a very very painful past for being only 22 I feel like I have been through a lot- and lyrics like that just humble me to help me remember where I came from just months earlier. I appreciate the depth of your songs and the genuineness of your worship! Thanks again!
It was such a pleasure to talk

Jenine Anderson on Canyon Lake Community Church - Concert 10/30/2009
Sarah. I really enjoyed your concert. My friend invited me, but I had committed to work that night for a friend. The mgr found out that I would be working 7 nights straight and said no. So I called my friend back. It was like she knew I was going to call back because she just had this feeling that she should wait to call someine else. Lo and behold I called and said that I was able to make it. Can't wait to see you again at Revival next week. You have such an awesome voice!!!!!
You're awesome!
Tricia 10/29/2009
I saw you in concert when you opened for Paul Coleman Trio in Goshen, Ind. a few years ago. You are totally awesome. I love the honesty in your lyrics and the passion that you bring to each song. I would love to see you in the northern Indiana area again sometime. Blessings!

Gina on Hold on Love 10/20/2009
I heard you sing for the first time last night at Saddleback church, and i was so deeply touched by your music and your story. it felt like your hand reached out, and went into my soul and took everything Im going through at the moment and put it up there on that stage. I have recently found out that my boyfriend of 6 years, the one i thought i was going to share my life with and has helped me raise my daughter has been cheating on me for 2 years! i have many "why me God?" moments, and all i can do is trust him and hold on. when i purchased your cd, you were signing it for me, you turned to me and held my arm and looked so deep into my eyes it was like you were seeing into my soul and said thank you, it was like wow, someone has noticed me. i put on your cd and the song, Hold on love stuck out immediatly, and is now my power song to get me through. thank God for you, and for sharing your gift and story of hope with us all, so we may look forward to God's graces. come back soon!
Such a blessing!

Tammy on Saddleback Church 10/19/2009
This was the first time that I have heard your music and the only way I can describe its effect on me this evening was that it cut deep to my soul and really moved me. Thank you for making some of your music available to us via your website. During your performance, I could not only feel the pain that you sang about but also the revelation as things turned around. I also enjoyed sharing in your happiness with your new marriage. It reminds me how important it is to be equally yoked in our relationships. Best to you always

Seaside?
Solveig Karlsøen Bodal 10/18/2009
Hello! I was visiting The Seaside Festival in Tvedestrand, Norway last summer, and I'm so pleased, because I definetly have found my favourite artist! So I wonder if you come back next year. It had been wonderful. If you doesn't visit Seaside Festival, when did you visit Europe (Norway or Sweden)?
dark nights
Anonymous 10/17/2009
Posted a couple of comments on your myspace a year or so ago. So glad you have this. Your music got me through a lot of long and dark nights. I am a former cutter and would listen to your songs when I wanted to cut. The deal was listen to a song and if I still wanted to cut I could but I would keep listening to the music until the desire to SI passed, sometimes it was hours. The two songs that mean the most to me are "At About Midnight" and "Where the Past Meets Today." Please keep doing what you do. I have never been a huge fan of anybody but your music is different and I like it. So thanks! Tammy

Mysterious Ways Rocks :)
Josh on Mysterious Ways 10/17/2009
I loved Mysterious Ways that Sarah Kelly did with tobyMac on the U2 tribute album. It is such a powerful song and Sarah Kelly has amazing voices on the song. I am a big fan of tobyMac and I just loved his version of Mysterious Ways. I am also thankful that Sarah Kelly could add her vocals to the song to make the even more better. God can move in mysterious ways and just listening to this song reminds me of that every time I listen to it.

Shel on Amazing Grace 10/17/2009
Hands down best cover of "Amazing Grace" I've even heard. And having performed at many funerals, memorial services and so on, I've heard a lot. This is the first version that sounds like it comes straight from the heart
The first time
Debby 10/17/2009
My daughter's friend and her mother invited us to church in Hesperia, CA where we heard you for the first time. We were so impressed with your voice, the way you carried yourself and how you related to the people in the audience. We were really touched by your songs and the stories you shared about your life. Afterward we were blown away as we watched you stay and talk to each person who came up to you. My daughter bought your CD and you signed it. You also gave her some words of encouragement that she still remembers to this day. You made her feel so special and so loved. Thank you Sarah and we hope to be able to come and see you again some time. It was a truly wonderful and blessed experience. God Bless Debby V.
